Bringing a Piece of Joan Home

Posted by Sharon Hayslip on

The late Joan Rivers, notorious for her unapologetic humor and fashion forward style, is now giving her fans the opportunity to bring a little bit of her style into their homes. According to the New York Times, "Bob Mackie gowns, Cartier baubles and a jeweled study of a Lily of the Valley leaf by Fabergé that filled the comedian's Manhattan penthouse are coming to auction at Christie's."

“The sale at Christie’s this June offers a ‘through the keyhole’ experience for fans across the globe to see and buy items from my mother’s amazing Manhattan penthouse. The auction celebrates her elegance and collecting style,” stated Melissa Rivers.

The live sale will begin on June 22, 2016 with 200 lots and an additional 80 lots will be sold in an onine auction between June 16-23. A portion of the proceeds will benefit God's Love We Deliver and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
